Job Description
​
As a front desk professional, you will be the first point of contact for our company. We expect all of our front desk team members to uphold our standards of politeness, respectability, kindness, and professionalism.
We are searching for a service-focused team member to brighten our clinic's front desk and support our leadership team. Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who can apply their leadership skills and service expertise to go above and beyond in the guest experience. Our front desk team is the backbone of our practice and plays a vital role in organizing the schedule for our practice.
This position is great for individuals interested in health and wellness with a passion for helping others manage chronic and acute pain.You will have the opportunity to collaborate with best-in-class leaders of the massage industry and professionals who are passionate about helping others begin their wellness journey!

Ultimately, the front desk's duties and responsibilities are to ensure the guest has a positive experience at Proactive and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibilities
​

Greet every guest and Associate with eye contact and a sincere, friendly smile
-
Assist clients with booking appointments in person and over the phone.

Review daily appointments, prioritizing guest service and a fair distribution of appointments among service providers; notify all therapists without appointments of on-call status
-
Handle all cash and credit transactions to ensure proper payment is received for each treatment
-
Accurately book appointments, including confirming all information with guests and reminding them of cancellation policy prior to closing the interaction.

Interface with the Therapist Team regarding operations pertinent to the Front Desk; communicate issues and concerns to appropriate parties and assist with resolution

Attend meetings with Clinical Operations Manager as required

Assist Clients in setting up memberships and general membership inquiries
-
Ensure that reception, lobby, and other public clinic spaces meet expectations of cleanliness and organization
-
Assist in the wellness store as necessary
-
Carefully adhere to all clinic opening and closing procedures, ensuring the safety and security of the operation, guests, visitors, and staff
-
Possess knowledge of specials and discounts throughout the clinic to accurately answer guest inquiries

Other duties as requested by manager

Enter Product inventory
-
Sale of products from our Wellness Store
-
Stock the relaxation room and treatment rooms with supplies
-
Distribute products for services to service providers
-
Wash and fold Laundry (towels, robes)
-
Answer Clients questions regarding our services, pricing and packages we offer.

Ensure necessary client paperwork is completed, including client information forms and treatment plan updates

Communicate with clients regarding scheduling adjustments
-
Handle all cash and credit transactions to ensure proper payment is received for each treatment

Possess excellent working knowledge of all Clinic treatments and can accurately answer guest inquiries regarding treatments

Offering administrative support to Therapists and Management when needed

Providing customer support via phone, email, and text

Welcoming and checking out guests for wellness service appointments

Managing product inventory in our wellness store

Pay
​
Starting pay is $14.00 an hour. Plus 5% product sales commission with fast growth potential. We always hire within for management and leadership roles, so if you are interested in learning how to manage a busy clinic, this would be a great role for you.
