Vibroacoustic Therapy (VAT)
VibroAcoustic Therapy (VAT) is a science-based treatment that uses mild sound and gentle vibrations to create a gentle massage, which in turn reduces stress, relieves pain, restores balance, and enhances the quality of life. You can remain fully clothed or at your comfort level throughout the session in your private suite. Your session can be 30 or 60 minutes, depending on the treatment you choose.
What is Vibroacoustic Therapy (VAT)?
Vibroacoustic Therapy, or VAT, is essentially a deep-tissue low-frequency sound massage using audio waves in the range of 30 Hz–120 Hz that are being transmitted to the body by embedded transducers in the bed. The sound gently permeates the cells, allowing massage from inside as well as out.
Who Can Benefit From VAT?
VAT may be an independent therapy or incorporated with medical treatment and psychotherapy. With its different frequencies, VAT serves as a natural energy booster and pain reliever. It is good for people with chronic or special needs and anyone with stress who wants to use preventive and integrative wellness therapy.
Researchers all over the world, including those at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), have studied VAT. NIH reports the benefits of using VAT for Parkinson's, PTSD, anxiety, physical injuries, brain function, COPD, asthma, and much more.
How Does VAT Affect the Body?
The mechanism of action of VAT is the oscillation of the human nervous system with the frequencies and resonance characteristics of various muscle groups. VAT combines these resonance frequencies into programs based on experimentally-based effects and is evaluated by patient reactions. Thousands of research hours have taught us how to use these programs to relax, stimulate, and relieve pain.

Add The BrainTap Headset To Your Vibroacoustic Session
BrainTap offers an optional headset to enhance immersion and create a more impactful experience by adding light therapy.
The lights in the earcups and visor work in concert with the audio sessions, generating a calming frequency that allows your brain to energize by creating new neural pathways.
The new 5.0 model headset has a significantly upgraded speaker system and increased quality for higher durability, improved comfort, and a sleeker look and feel. The headset features the latest Bluetooth technology with auto-pairing, auto-connect functionality, and a convenient audio cord for users that prefer to disconnect the Bluetooth feature.

Research
01
Fibromyalgia Treatment
Conclusion: Significant improvements were observed with median scores: Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire, 81% ; Jenkins Sleep Scale, 90% and Pain Disability Index, 49.1%. Medication dose was reduced in 73.68% of patients and completely discontinued in 26.32%. Time sitting and standing without pain increased significantly. Cervical muscle range of motion increased from 25% to 75% while
muscle tone changed from hypertonic to normal.
02
Arthritis Pain Management
Conclusion: Vibroacoustic therapy is a revolutionary tool in the fi eld of multidisciplinary management of chronic pain in JIA and triggered a noticeable diminution of the SDAI score, decreasing the disease activity from severe to moderate and the psycho-behavioral manifestations, with great statistically significant difference to the witness group.
03
Cerebral Palsey
Conclusion: Published studies show that VAT may increase motor function in both children and adults with CP. All seven studies presented an improvement of motor function in participants, six of them with statistical significance. Furthermore, three of these studies found that VAT reduced spasticity in people with spastic CP. These findings are consistent with findings of systematic reviews on WBV, proving that low vibrations can improve movement and spasticity in people with CP.
04
Psychological and Physiological Processes
Conclusions: VA therapy influences both psychological and physiological processes. Music is received, processed and interpreted in the brain, and the emotional and associating effect of music stimulates psychological processes. At the same time, physical effects go alongside or are the result of psychological activity, and music has an active effect on physical behavior. These studies have clarified the efficacy of VA therapy as an intervention for clinical populations, and the effect of the stimulus on subjects.
05
Post Covid 19 Syndrome
Conclusion: The results obtained during the study of the use of vibroacoustic therapy in patients with respiratory manifestations of post-COVID syndrome, including the presence of chronic bronchopulmonary pathology, allow us to conclude on the effective correction of dyspnea and cough during treatment. Vibroacoustic therapy is a promising non-drug method of exposure to bronchopulmonary manifestations of post-COVID syndrome in patients during rehabilitation.
06
In Medicine
Conclusions: Vibroacoustic technology is an effective treatment for relaxation, anxiety reduction, muscle-tension reduction, and pain management. Vibroacoustics has potential for treating disorders and for use during medial procedures. The method is effective for a wide variety of medical and wellness
programs and has promise for others.
